Stretch™ Expandable Black Trivet

I had my doubts about a trivet that folds, but the expanding mechanism is genuinely smooth and holds steady under a heavy Dutch oven. It shrinks down flat enough to slide into my already-packed utensil drawer without a fight.

My cast iron skillet finally fits somewhere safe, since I can dial the trivet in to exactly the right width and it holds steady. Folds down flat enough that it doesn't clutter my countertop, and the drawer storage is a real bonus.
