I was skeptical about another "as-seen-on-TV" gadget, but the slice & scoop head actually makes the whole process one smooth motion. The stainless-steel pitter is genuinely sharp enough that I didn’t have to worry about slipping while getting the pit out. Scooping the flesh out with the same head and then slicing it in one motion saved me from washing a cutting board and knife.
Used it for the first time tonight and the pitter part is genius—no more digging around with a knife and hoping I don’t slice my palm. The scoop end makes getting the flesh out in one piece almost too easy, and it cleaned up in seconds. Definitely the most used gadget in my drawer this week.
