Stretch™ Expandable Black Trivet

Wasn't sure a folding trivet would feel sturdy, but this one holds my heavy cast iron skillet without any wobble. I love that I can stretch it out for the big Dutch oven and then collapse it flat to slide into the drawer.

I had my doubts about a trivet that folds, but the expanding mechanism is genuinely smooth and holds steady under a heavy Dutch oven. It shrinks down flat enough to slide into my already-packed utensil drawer without a fight.

My cast iron skillet finally fits somewhere safe, since I can dial the trivet in to exactly the right width and it holds steady. Folds down flat enough that it doesn't clutter my countertop, and the drawer storage is a real bonus.
