Finally got a bin that doesn't need emptying every other day—the 32L compartment actually holds a week's worth of my recyclables. Pushing bottles through the one-way flaps feels oddly satisfying and nothing has popped back out, even with the lid clipped on.

The clip-on lid with those one-way flaps is such a simple idea, but it actually works—I can shove stuff in without anything falling back out when I carry it to the curb. The light blue color looks way nicer in my kitchen corner than I expected for a recycling bin.
